Corporate Social Responsibility at Agro Chem Federation of India(ACFI) has evolved to include the participation of all stakeholders. Over the years the ACFI and member companies have actively participated in outreach program initiatives where they contribute their knowledge, skills, and technical expertise to the community.
Kisan Kalyan Karykram
OBJECTIVE:
- To educate the farmers and spread the message that by using the right pesticides their crop yield will increase significantly.
- To buy agrochemicals with GST Bill only.
- To consult the KVK Scientists, Agriculture officers, Agri Universities professors before buying any product.
- To use the agrochemicals judiciously as prescribed in the product leaflet.
- To create awareness against misbranded and counterfeit products with the help of the government.
- To burst the myths against the use of Agrochemicals.

Under the ACFI Stewardship program 'Kisan Kalyan Karykram' we have launched a mass awareness campaign 'Jago Kishan Jago' to educate, engage and empower the Indian farmers.

Chemicals Limited
- CFCL runs a comprehensive CSR program in Kota & Baran District of Rajasthan.
- Our CSR programs includes quality education, rural infrastructure & skill development, women empowerment, healthcare, environmental sustainability, disaster management & sports promotion
- Adopted 53 government schools and 47 Aanganwadi centres with 13000+ student’s enrollment to provide better quality education.
- We support over a 2000+ youth annually through 5 ITI & 1 Government Polytechnic College.
- Developing urban like infrastructure facilities in villages and reaching out to 30000+ villagers.
- 25000 + rural folks were facilitated under healthcare initiative yearly.
- Installed 10 Oxygen generation plants.
- Facilitating 600 + community members and 30 women for production of handcrafted products under livelihood initiatives.
- Facilitating farmers with soil health, irrigation water reports & farm advisory services.
- Initiated development of ecological park at Sorsan Grass Land forest reserve.
- More than 6000 farmers mobilized under crop residue management project in Punjab & Haryana.
Crystal Crop Protection Ltd.
- Working with various agencies, NGOs and through its own team at Manufacturing units, Depots etc & extended support to those who suffered
- Donating Rs. 1 Cr to PM Care Fund.
- Starting 40 bed Covid care center at Lakshmibai College, New Delhi providing care and treatment to Covid patients. It is being managed by qualified doctors and nurses.
- Proactively importing oxygen concentrators, which are being used at various centers across India. Team Crystal is extending support to trade partners, farmers, and the community at large on need basis.
- Reaching out to people in need and providing them with food packets and essential safety kits through its depot, zonal offices, and manufacturing locations.
- Collaborating with rural bodies in north India and supporting them in a sanitization drive with boom sprayers.
- Organizing vaccination camp at its manufacturing plant and motivating people for Vaccination.
Parijat Industries Ltd.
- High Quality Reusable Washable cotton cloth mask made as per the guidelines of Principal Scientific Advisor to the Government of India, has been manufactured and distributed free to general public in Haryana and sections such as Academic Institutions, Government Offices, Hospitals in Ambala
- During the Covid 19 pandemic and lockdown we supported the underprivileged community with the distribution of food. Rice bags has been distributed to general public in the village in Tamil Nadu
- Under Pan India Mission to promote safe and judicious use of Pesticide two separate booklets have been created ie. 1. Ready Reference Safety Guide for Farmers, 2. Training Manual for academic and practical training guidebook. Both publications has been translated and published in 11 languages, Telegu, Gujarati, Urdu, Kannada, Marathi, Oriya, Tamil, Bengali, Punjabi, Hindi and English. The books have been distributed to 17 States, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Odisha, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka
- Parijat Suraksha Shield Kit (The kit consists of a pair of masks, nitrile gloves, goggles and 10 disposable caps) for the farmers has been distributed to the Indian farmers at a Pan India level
- As part of focus on enriching lives of rural youth and children an ongoing program for revamping and upscaling of Anganwadi’s has been implemented. Anganwadi’s has been repaired and painted. Also Swing, See Saw, Chairs for children, Cooking Vessels, Table and Chair for Teacher has been provided to the Anganwadi’s
- 39800 fruit trees have been planted in various locations under the aegis of Mission Falvan which is a tree plantation project working with Defense Forces in India
- Student’s engage with art and artists, knowing, exploring, researching and appreciating various cultural art forms prevalent in Delhi. Research Intern worked on “A Slice of northeast in the heart of Delhi: Life in Humayunpur” – Aditya Ranjan Pathak from Ambedkar University, Delhi
Farmer Safety Training Pan India
- Parijat Crop Protection Training Manual has been developed in a form of academic textbook to disseminate information and provide training to the farmer on the correct, safe and judicious use of pesticides. The manual has been used during the farmer trainings conducted Pan India.
- The objective behind the training program was to promote the benefit of the safe usage of crop protection products and the safety of farmers while using pesticides on the crop.
- We have conducted 7 Farmer trainings in collaboration with Krishi Vigyan Kendra’s on the safe and judicious usage of crop protection products
- 420 Crop Protection Training Manual has been distributed to farmers during the trainings

Environment
- Parijat in consultation with Plantology is working towards reforestation and planting fruit trees across India. Mission Falvan – Fruit for All” aims to plant fruit trees PAN INDIA
- Parijat Industries supports Plantology, which takes the responsibility of giving trees along with plantation knowhow. The plantation drive is done through Army and various Para Military forces (NSG, CISF, BSF)
- We have planted saplings of various species of fruit trees like mango, blackberry, tamarind, Amla, Amrut, Bael, Jackfruit etc across 16 States of India
- 26065 fruit trees have been planted in various locations under Defense Security Service from April 2022 to November 2022

Parijat Urja Chakra New Campus Inauguration
- Parijat Industries in conjunction with Anand Foundation inaugurated their campus for Rural Development through its CSR initiative, Parijat Urja Chakra (PUC) at Ambala, Haryana on 21st June 2022.
- Parijat Urja Chakra was established in 2014 and has been working in rural areas for last 8 years.
- The new campus will house the numerous initiatives that Parijat CSR and Anand Foundation have been running in a gamut of areas such as education, environment, health and sanitation, sports, agriculture, rural development, livelihood, and intangible cultural heritage.
- The new campus will enable scaling up the various ongoing projects.
Tuition Class at PUC
- The Tuition Classes have been initiated to promote education among underprivileged children, create the process to embrace these children into mainstream, strengthen their abilities to cope up with the formal education system
- Students from Fatehgarh and Jatwar village visits PUC for Tuition classes regular
- The students are supported in the holistic development and to increase their confidence through various curricular and co-curricular activities
- We have 30 students between the age group of 6 to 12yrs, regularly attending the Tuition classes at Parijat Urja Chakra.
Inter School Chess & Carrom Competition
- Sixth Annual Inter School Chess & Carrom Tournament has been successfully conducted on 10th September 2022 by Anand Foundation at Parijat Urja Chakra
- The event saw the participation of more than 40 students from the Government Schools of Jatwar, Toda, Khanpur, Fatehgarh, Ningania Vidya Mandir and Parijat Urja Chakra.
Inter School Badminton Tournament
- Fifth Annual Inter School Badminton Tournament has been successfully conducted on 22nd December 2022 by anand Foundation at Fatehgarh Government School, Badminton Court
- The event saw the participation of more than 50 students from the Government Schools of Jatwar, Bharog, Khanpur, Fatehgarh, Raiwali and Shahzadpur.

- Fifth Annual Inter School Sports Day has been successfully conducted on 9th February 2023 by Anand Foundation at Jatwar Government School, Sports Ground
- The event saw the participation of more than 70 students from the Government Schools of Jatwar, Bharog, Dhanana, Fatehgarh, Raiwali and Shahzadpur.
- Ms Jyoti Rani (Block Education Officer, Shahzadpur), Ms Seema Rani (Principal, GSSS Jatwar) and Mr Om Prakash (Fatehgarh Sarpanch representative) were present as the Chief Guests for the event

- Third Annual Inter School Volleyball Tournament has been successfully conducted on 27th March 2023 by Anand Foundation at Fatehgarh Government School, Volleyball Ground

Library
- With a vision to promote the culture reading, a library consisting of more than 200 books is built at Parijat Urja Chakra in collaboration with Anand Foundation.
- Newspapers and magazines of diverse genres are added every month to facilitate holistic development of the students. Competitive examinations books are also made available to the aspiring students
- Reading and Book Club has been initiated by the Librarian in the Library of Parijat Urja Chakra New Campus. Anand Foundation Book clubs involve children to read books of their choice, review and bring to the group, thus widening the reading repertoire of children.
- Story telling sessions are also conducted by the Librarian. The Reading & Book Club has been supporting students to enjoy reading books and increase their vocabulary and their confidence.
